DHL Express Singapore EV Fleet Expansion Launch Event & PR Campaign

Challenge

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, is announcing the addition of 80 electric vehicles (EVs) to its Singapore fleet, in partnership with ComfortDelGro, one of the world’s largest land transport companies. To make a successful launch, they needed to host a physical media event and create an engaging PR campaign to position themselves as innovation leaders within the logistics industry. They needed to drive a compelling and authoritative brand voice to educate the region about their sustainability efforts towards Singapore’s 2030 Green Plan.

Approach

Bud organized a media event and develoed a PR strategy with carefully crafted editorial angles that clearly align DHL Express’ objectives with the target media and audience. Bud also created a targeted media relations strategy to deliver top tier coverage in SEA by tapping into news agendas and active outreach activities.

Impact

Successful launch event with Singapore’s Minister for Transport, Mr. S. Iswaran, as Guest-of-Honour. Great media success with 100% turnout, as well as 171 pieces of coverage from the media attendance at the event and press release dissemination, across online, print and broadcast media platforms.
