Taking a sneaker-tech startup to acquisition and beyond
Ox Street is a disruptor in the Asian sneaker and apparel marketplace, a sector tipped to reach $65bn by 2025. They came to Bud seeking to build awareness from ground zero, reaching and attracting new customers and generating valuable conversations with potential inventors.
Bud developed a multi-pronged brand awareness and thought leadership campaign designed to build customer acquisition. Secondly we focused on B2B titles in order to support fundraising and acquisition objectives.
We profiled Ox Street across regional Tier 1 titles including Esquire, Yahoo Finance, AugustMan, BFM 89.9, Money FM and Ticker TV, covering Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Australia. Ox Street was acquired by Carousell in Q4 2021 and attributed the brand building campaign directly to the acquisition.
