Most PR measurement counts coverage. Almost none of it measures whether people believe you.
Now we can.
The Bud Believability Framework is evidence-based & board-ready.
Nine criteria across three dimensions. The method lets us identify what you're doing well and get specific about the gaps we find. Scoring starts with a benchmark, then repeats on a cadence that suits you: quarterly, bi-annually, or annually.
Three levels of engagement:
-
A rapid read of where your brand stands today.
The Light audit covers four core criteria: how clearly you communicate your purpose, how well your stakeholder experience matches your claims, whether you can point to real evidence of follow-through, and how trustworthy and relevant your brand appears right now.
It draws on publicly available sources: your website, social profiles, media coverage, and customer reviews. No deep data pulls, no competitor benchmarking, just a fast, honest assessment of the foundations.
Good for: brands that want a quick credibility check before a campaign, a pitch, or a relaunch.
-
A fuller picture, with more criteria and more context.
The Medium audit expands to six criteria, adding an assessment of whether your ambitions are actually believable given your track record, and whether your initiatives are genuinely relevant to your stakeholders right now. It also extends the trust analysis — looking at sentiment and share of voice over a longer window to assess not just current perception, but whether it holds up over time.
It brings in competitor benchmarking and a broader set of data sources, including media listening and social analysis.
Good for: brands that want to understand not just what the gaps are, but why they exist and how they compare.
-
The full audit, across all nine criteria.
Premium covers everything in Medium, plus a more granular breakdown of brand clarity and consistency, a dedicated assessment of proof of impact, and a long-term resonance analysis that examines whether your brand leaves a lasting impression. It also draws on a wider source set — including AI tool visibility, crisis history, and where available, internal data such as employee sentiment and retention signals.
This is a standalone, comprehensive audit designed to give leadership a complete and defensible view of brand credibility.
Good for: brands preparing for a significant moment — a rebrand, market entry, investor narrative, or reputational reset — or those that want a rigorous baseline to track against over time.
